Blake Rider, PE
PRICNCIPAL ENGINEER
Blake is a professional electrical engineer registered in the State of Alaska with a specialization in industrial control systems. Blake has nearly twenty years of experience consulting, programming and commissioning complex industrial applications across the state. As a lifelong Alaskan, Blake founded Alaska Automation with the mission to support and strengthen the systems that keep our communities running. Blake’s expertise is unparalleled and his innovative approach drives the team to deliver reliable and powerful results.

Kyle Farley-Robinson, EIT
ASSOCIATE
Kyle is an electrical engineering graduate from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. At Alaska Automation, Kyle’s scope of work focuses primarily on design and troubleshooting of control systems, including PLCs, SCADA, databases and reporting. Kyle also has vast experience designing, implementing, and securing on-premise and cloud SCADA computing infrastructure. Kyle’s exceptional ability to not only problem solve but design long-lasting, dependable solutions has proven to be invaluable to both our clients and our team.

Peyton Russell, EIT
MANAGER, ASSOCIATE
Peyton is an electrical EIT and systems integrator with over six years of PLC programming experience. With a degree in Biological Systems from Iowa State University, Peyton previously worked in the food and beverage industry focusing on industrial automation, system integration, controls, SCADA design, process efficiency, data reporting and visualization. Peyton is dedicated to delivering high-quality outcomes and project success making him an integral part of the Alaska Automation story and continuous growth.

Nate Jamsa, PE
ASSOCIATE
Nate has a graduate's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Gonzaga University and a MS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California. He spent five years at Boeing working in flight control systems and environmental control systems. During this time, he became a licensed PE in the State of Washington specializing in thermal and fluid systems. Most recently, Nate was a Mechanical Engineer for a renewable energy company focusing on wave energy technology. Nate brings a wide scope of knowledge to the team and as a new Alaska resident, is eager to explore and serve Alaska communities.
